Frequently Asked Questions
What is OsintRai?
A travel-risk monitoring platform built on open-source intelligence (OSINT): it automatically aggregates public signals — earthquakes, disasters, conflict, markets and media — into structured destination risk conclusions, evidence chains and alerts.
Where does the data come from, and how fresh is it?
From public sources including USGS, GDELT, NASA EONET/FIRMS, market quotes, prediction markets and official advisories (full list on the About page). Refresh cadence varies by source, from minutes to daily.
What is the difference between free and subscription?
Risk conclusions are free; subscriptions unlock evidence chains, calibration history, threshold alerts, report export and team workflows. See the pricing page for plans.
Can I cancel anytime? Are there refunds?
You can cancel anytime; entitlements remain until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, paid fees are non-refundable.
Can I rely on risk conclusions for safety decisions?
Platform output is automated analysis of public data, provided for reference only and possibly delayed or inaccurate. Make travel and security decisions independently with official sources.
Is there an API?
Yes. Subscribers can access data endpoints with an API key; quotas depend on the plan. Team / Business API / Enterprise access is not open yet — register your interest on the business page (/business).
How is my personal data handled?
See the Privacy Policy (/privacy). Highlights: passwords stored hashed, no full card numbers retained, and you can request data export or deletion at any time.
